So I was at work Friday night. And DH (the cook, he's hella awesome) was reducing a quart of cream on the oven in the corner. And like, he forgot about it. So it reduced down to just oil right.
So the thing just combusts and this huge ass fireball goes into the air from the top of this pot. I'm across the kitchen looking the other way, and I can feel the heat on my face.
He didn't have an apron to smother it with so he pulls it off of the oven, carries it across the kitchen with his thongs, dumps it in the prep sink (it's deep, made of metal) and then it erupts again (there was water on the bottom of the sink), so there was another huge fir
